Content Refresh
Learn about content refresh in marketing
What is Content Refresh?
Content refresh is the process of updating existing pages to improve accuracy, relevance, and performance. This includes adding new data, improving structure, updating outdated examples, enhancing media, or optimizing for new keywords. Refreshing high-potential pages (e.g., those ranking #6–20) is often more efficient than creating new content. Google tends to re-rank refreshed pages quickly, especially if the update is substantial. Track performance in GSC to identify candidates: pages with declining traffic or rising impressions but low CTR.
